Overview
Friend and Friends were working through a complete rebrand of Holm Theatre when they approached me for a motion graphic to accompany the new look. Owen Friend from Friend and Friends, who worked on the rebrand, designed the visuals and storyboard for this animation, sending over the vector artwork once the client had signed everything off. Once the client sent over a track they liked, I jumped into animating.
As Holm is a theatre company, I thought it important that the visuals were closely tied in with the music. This resulted in a calm, slowly shifting motion graphic that gets the details across while making great use of Holm’s lovely new branding.
